The latest Big Agent Meeting eXp inspired agents across the network with lessons on leadership, digital growth, and preparation for EXPCON 2025 in Miami. Hosted by Russ Lagen, vice president of growth at eXp Realty, the session focused on strengthening team alignment, improving digital visibility, and staying connected through collaboration.
The Attraction Advantage: Placing the Right People in the Right Roles
Russ Lagen opened the meeting by emphasizing how success in real estate starts with alignment. Agents and team leaders often try to mold others into roles that may not suit their skills. Instead, he encouraged everyone to evaluate their natural strengths.
“If someone is great at detail work, they may not love sales. If someone loves leading, they may not enjoy being a team member,” he explained.
He asked agents to reflect on three simple questions:
-
Where am I right now?
-
Where do I want to be?
-
What will it take to get there?
Russ reminded agents that teamwork drives progress. “If you perform better with accountability, join a team. If you enjoy guiding others, build one.” His point aligned with the principles behind The 4 Pillars of eXp Realty, which focus on collaboration, innovation, wealth building, and personal development within the eXp community.
EXPCON 2025: Building Connection and Collaboration
Brian Ellington, Chief Learning Officer at eXp Realty, gave an update on EXPCON 2025, which will feature 75 breakout sessions, four general sessions, and extensive networking opportunities.
Agents who attend can also use the Explorer Pass to invite another licensed professional not yet part of eXp Realty. According to Ellington, 68 percent of those guests eventually join the company after experiencing EXPCON’s culture firsthand.
“If you’ve felt disconnected in your business, EXPCON will recharge you,” Russ said. “When agents feel connected, they perform better.”

RealGrader: Powering Your Digital Brand with AI
Alex Monsenti, CEO of RealGrader.ai, presented tools that help agents manage their online reputation. Every eXp Realty agent receives a complimentary digital business card and a free AI-driven digital audit of their online profiles.
Agents can text EXP to 5164004161 or visit instacardexp.com to claim theirs. RealGrader analyzes visibility across Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, Zillow, and even ChatGPT searches. The system connects with Canva and CRM software to automate branded content posting.
“With AI and Canva integration, your listings can post everywhere in seconds,” Monsenti said. “Spend your time with clients, not behind a dashboard.”
This approach mirrors the digital collaboration model promoted within the eXp Wolf Pack, where agents use modern tools to scale faster.
Winning Clients Through Social Media
A highlight of the Big Agent Meeting eXp was Noah Ward, a 24-year-old eXp agent who shared how he built his business entirely through TikTok and YouTube.
Ward explained that he turned $15,000 land sales into a $12 million listing by posting local market insights. Over the past year, he closed $10 million in sales, with $8 million coming from social media.
He focuses on hyperlocal content such as “Best Places to Live in Sarasota” and “Relocating to Florida.” On TikTok, he posts short, engaging videos five times a week, while YouTube hosts longer relocation guides.
“On TikTok, you buy the next three seconds of someone’s attention,” Ward said. “If you can keep them watching, you’ll earn their trust.”
Seller Shield: Protecting Clients and Agents
Ellie Edwards from Seller Shield discussed how disclosure issues remain the number one cause of home sale lawsuits. Seller Shield integrates directly with SkySlope and guides sellers through each step of disclosure with built-in accuracy checks.
The platform also offers post-closing legal protection up to $75,000. Even if a seller discloses everything correctly, lawsuits can still happen, making Seller Shield an essential safeguard for agents and clients.
Agents can sign up at sellershield.com/exp or access it directly through SkySlope. According to the National Association of Realtors, consistent legal compliance and communication are key to maintaining client trust.
